Anyways, it is January 4th of 2010! This year better be phenemonal. Well recent major changes; new living arrangements, new friends, Sean is in daycare, and Derek's job is doing decent now! We are living in an awesome apartment. We paid our first month's rent a week ago (we got a deal with a free month of rent and got December free). We haven't gotten any utilities bills yet, still anticipating those. Sean is loving daycare now, it took about two weeks of adjusting. Me and Derek have been doing great and we have made some new friends and learned things about old friends.

Overall things are pretty good. I need to go through my 101 list and see what needs to be done. Another bonus with this apartment is we get a free membership to Gold's Gym. Tomorrow, I shall go... hopefully. :)

Well it has been quite a few weeks it seems since I have been on here. Our internet bill got put on hold and our internet was cut off until we had extra money to pay it. My interviews all went very good, except Charlotte Russe. I didn't get a call back from them after my interview. I guess they didn't want me. I am going to call them tomorrow, just in case though. Party City was just a seasonal job, since Halloween is right around the corner they were hiring for that season, and she recommended I go to my other interviews if they are better prospects. TJ Maxx was it. I got called back and started within the week. I was out on the floor on the first day, thank goodness. I prefer to be out there organzing it all. It is not up to my standards... ever. That place is always so messy. I barely get through half of it by the end of my shift. It sucks, I have to skip things I want to fix in order to get it looking presentable. The past few days they have been training me on a register just in case they need more help. Today was a good day for that experience, I got called up as soon as I clocked in. And today was my first tardy day. :( It is about a 25 minute drive, but the way their system works if you are supposed to be at work at 4:30pm and you clock in at 4:31pm, you are considered tardy. That was what happened today. I was only ONE minute late, but late by their standards. I wanted to leave the house at 3:45pm, just to keep myself on the safe side and Derek opened his mouth saying I left so early. I have been leaving 45 minutes before my shift starts so I am NOT late. Gah, he made me late. Haha. I told him I would wait an extra 10 minutes... well I didn't end up leaving the house until 4:00pm... and ran into a few traffic jams along the way. Grr.

Everything else is dandy. Me and Derek have been great! I think we are still going to see a marriage counsellor once we get back on our feet financially. As soon as he finds a job, or I find a second job... whichever comes first, we are going to start looking for another place to live. We were going to try and buy his sister's house off of her if she was able to buy a different house but she didn't get approved. So she is staying in her house and we are on the look for another rental, it seems. I would stay here until we could buy something, but with my parents staying here, it is just stressful. I hate coming home to a dirty house. And I know no one else seems to understand my standards of clean. It would just be easier. Plus me and Derek have only lived out on our own for like two or three months... and that was only a few months ago. We have never really been in a house by ourselves. I am ready to feel that again. We are going to hope the landlord is okay with keeping our deposit, and letting my parents use it so they won't have to worry with saving that much back... and can save to switch the electric, water, and cable/internet over to their name. :) I gotta talk with my mom about it and see how much time they need. Hopefully it won't be too long and they can save that up... because I would like to use the money that Derek is going to get from this next job towards our next place... put it away and save it. He'll be doing that, hopefully this week! We shall see.

This past weekend was mine and Derek's fun weekend. I don't think we have got to have fun in quite a few months, probably since Derek lost his job. Derek went out Friday night and we ended up meeting up with them after they had their guy time. Them being Michael (Lisa's boyfriend) and Derek; us being me, Lisa, Alison (Lisa's bff), and Anslie (my sister). She is 18 now so she went to her first club with us Friday night and enjoyed herself. :D Derek ended up staying out a lot later than I anticipated. We left the guys about 2:30am and headed home. I woke up at 7:30am with Sean in bed with me and Derek wasn't there... and he wasn't in the living room. I freaked out and sent him a text. He had called Alison, because she wanted to still drink after we all went home. They went and bought beer and sat out at the lake and watched the sunrise talking. Alison said she has some funny things to tell me, haha. Saturday night we went bowling and spent most of our fun money that night. I didn't spend a dime Friday night... ladies get in free, and I got a free drink because the bartender knows us. :D Saturday night we spent $50. Friends from out of town wanted to meet up and go bowling.

But since I have been staying up late the past few nights... tis the reason why I am up at 2:00am and not realy feeling tired. I mean my body is exhausted... feet and legs are sore from work. I stand on my feet for four hours and whine like a baby about it. Hahahahaha. But my mind is wired.

I am going to go dig into my cookie dough Derek pulled out (thanks to Jake for bringing that over Friday night to our cookout we had here... OH funny videos from that night will be posted up on Facebook) for me and drink me some Dr. Pepper while I find something to do on this computer. I haven't been online in so long, I don't know what to do with myself... really I don't!

Me and my hair now. I want to specify that I will NOT have blue hair after this weekend. I am going back to blonde this weekend and am going to try and go almost a platinum-ish blonde.

Which one do you think would look best on me?

I like the left photo, and would probably never spike the back of my hair, just so everyone knows.

Window shopping madness!

I have been trying to do something with myself lately as I feel like I have not been doing much of anything. And I have went window shopping mad. I searched the Ashley Furniture online store and Ikea... oh my God, I never realized how cute some of their things are. I am in love with all of their kids stuff. I have a feeling 99% of Sean's future room is going to be Ikea.

Tomorrow I am going to get back into working out. I can't waste gas money driving to the Lake Murray dam to walk, so I am going to pull out my Carmen Electra workout videos and kill myself. Hahaha. Last time I worked out to that video, I had to stop because my hip made myself collapse under my own weight. My hip just gave out. So I figured I had worked out enough and didn't want to have that happen again, and haven't pulled those videos out since then, haha. We shall see how tomorrow goes. I just hate having that, "I feel fat," feeling. I know I am not anywhere close to being fat, but just having that feeling, ugh.

I have two job interviews next week, which is rather exciting! Monday is Party City & Tuesday is TJ Maxx. I have worked at TJ Maxx before and loved it and they loved me. I was moving though, so I quit. I love a job that can keep me busy with doing something I love... organizing clothes! I am an organizing freak! I figured out the other day, that I don't mind have a dirty house, I just hate having a cluttered house. My mom got onto me about the carpet being filthy and I told her that I had vaccumed and she is the one who figured out that I am more of a clutter freak than a clean freak. Now mind you after we came to that conclusion, I pulled out the shampooer and went to town cleaning the living room floor. I took photos, but haven't uploaded them yet. But our carpet was FILTHY. I went through half a bottle of Purple Power and spent over an hour shampooing the floor. I just hope that we can get these floors clean enough to get our deposit back. *crosses fingers*

Derek and I have also been having fun designing a new home, and I think we are going to just see if someone can do a custom build of a mobile home for us... it'll be cheaper and mobile homes nowadays are NICE! We did one two years ago and it was going to cost us $90,000 for a 2500+ square foot house that we LOVED. Of course, we lost those plans and the mobile home place that had that plan closed down a month ago. Sad days. We'll just have to find another place and slightly redesign a mobile home we like, but would like to adjust a few things. It is simple and Derek is awesome with this stuff. He should go to school for architecture or design, or something.

I went and saw that movie last night and realized that I was the youngest person in that audience (besides my sister who went with me). Rather amusing. I loved that movie too! It was pretty awesome. I also realized that I feel like I don't do much with my life. Blogging is so big nowadays, and I know mine isn't worth reading sometimes because it is just a quick update or a venting blog. I just wish I had something people wanted to read about. The only things I really enjoy is animals, organizing, and fast cars. I don't know enough about those three to make a really good blog out of it, haha.

I also had a dream last night that I had shaved a mohawk into my hair. O.o Very strange. I can't ever see myself doing that, but in the dream I loved it. Plus I know I would have a very hard time finding a job with a mohawk. Haha. I might try it one day though, maybe.

That's about all I got. I need to do something. I am getting the feeling I shouldn't be here right now.

Getting sick, I think?

Two days ago I had a fever blister pop up on my bottom lip. I hate it when that happens. I swear I feel them before they are visible and within three or four hours it was huge. I thought it was because of stress and whatnot, because I haven't felt sick at all lately. Well, today I wake up with my throat scratchy and now I am feeling rather flushed. Gah, I hope I am not getting sick. And if I am, I hope it is not going to last long or get too bad.

School is starting back up this coming week. I am so excited! My brother will be back in school, and means the house will have one less person in it during the day. Plus I will be watching my three-year-old niece as well. I am excited to be watching her because it gives Sean a play buddy. And I'll be taking her to playdates with me.

Tomorrow is going to be rather eventful. I have enough to make our rent payment (that was due on Friday, but my dad didn't get home before the banks closed, so I wasn't able to pay it) tomorrow and that is it. I am going to finish turning in all of my applications and cross my fingers that someone calls me back for an interview. I am hoping to get a job where I can work from 4 until whenever so I can still watch Madison (my neice) and Sean in the mornings.

I have learned over the past few weeks that for me and Derek to work well together, I am the one who stays at home with the kid and keeps the house clean (which I am perfectly fine with, as long as he has a job or is helping out too), and he is the one to work. The past few weeks he has been kind of lazying around and it is annoying. I had a small talk with him telling him that if I was to get a job and come home to a dirty house, that I was going to be getting upset more often and there would probably be more fights. We have been doing pretty good since our last incident. I figured as soon as we get everything settled, where we have bills under control (because we still have quite a few bills that are due and no money), we will probably find a marriage counsellor so we can get some help. I think things have gotten under control and I don't think we need to see one, but just to be safe, I figure we probably should see one.

Of course our day of no tv/no computer didn't work as I am on the computer. After me and Derek went to Kohls to get a few winter clothes for Sean, we came home and my Dad tossed in Stargate Atlantis and Derek was drawn to it. Goodness. Maybe those kinds of days will work better when I don't have four extra people living with us. Haha. That or I could just tell them we are having that kind of day, but I don't know how well that would go down since my mom kind of lives on her computer and my dad can't go without tv. *shrug*

So we had a sit down with everyone (kinda) and we are going to stay in this place a bit longer. Derek and I have talked about it ourselves too. I am just ready for something to change. I have turned in about five or six applications. Monday I am going to turn in the rest of my applications and come home to create a resume. Or maybe I'll create my resume tomorrow. I will definitely be posting it up online. I would really like to get a job somewhere, where I won't have to worry too much about my hair color. I mean, I'm willing to go back to being blonde, brunette, or red... but would like to have a splash of color in it as well. I enjoy it. It is me.

Sean has been having a few down days. He has been a butt. That's about it for there. Oh and his potty training is still at a stand still. He does great when we are out, but when we are home... he pees and poops everywhere. It is getting rather annoying.

Yesterday my mom pulled out the shampoo'er and shampoo'ed the dining room and wow there is a big difference in the floor. I'll have to take some photos. Haha. It is disgusting how this floor is. I hate that I let it get this way. It is nasty and filthy.

I am in need of another mini break, sucks that I don't have the money to get away. I think I am going to go for a drive this evening. I need to get out. My head has been hurting since noon. Whew.

I hope everyone else has a wonderful weekend. I hope we can get out of this soon enough. A month or two more and I think I may explode.

Potty training woes!

Sean has been potty training since he was two-and-a-half. He has had plenty of bad days and good days. I am pretty confident to think he is potty trained. He still goes to bed with pullups on because we tried to let him sleep in underwear. He woke up in the middle of the night each night, he was in underwear, soaked. So we decided to at least let him sleep in pullups.

Well lately he has seemed to be using this to thrash out against us. He will get upset with us and run into his room and look at his penis and pee on the floor. I will ask him to go to the bathroom and pee, and he will crawl behind the couch and pee instead. He will even sit on the floor and watch himself poop. He then comes to me or goes to the bathroom and grabs toilet paper to clean it up or will come to me to ask for a diaper wipe.

I would like to say he is pretty potty trained. I am pretty confident with it. I am just confused as to why he has to take it out on our carpet! Haha. We had just shampoo'ed his floor and two days later he pooped on the floor in his room, twice. Gah!

I don't want to punish him, because most people would probably say he isn't fully potty trained. But we will go two or three days with no accidents and he can go out in the same outfit all day without an accident (pooping is about the only accidents he still has). I mean, he'll start to pee, but he stops to let me know and we go to the bathroom. But at home, he doesn't do that... well on occasions he'll go to the bathroom himself to pee, but most days I walk into his room after he has been in there by himself an hour playing, there will be two pee spots.

Anyone got any advice? Should I start to punish him... or should I continue with him like he is still potty training?

After a three-mile walk across our Lake Murray Dam. I am sweaty, which is why I am shiney. Haha.

The puppy that we took back, which is a good thing since Derek lost his job two days later and we would have really needed that $150 adoption fee. I was going to name her Layla.

My parent's car got a flat tire so they left it over night because they needed to get a good tire from someone. Well we passed the car and saw this! The car was NOT left like that. The nerve of some people. Asses!

Sean and some blue Manic Panic. He got it on his forehead and ended up going head first into the couch! We got it off the couch and five minutes later we rinsed his head.

Trying my hardest to get Sean to take a decent photo with me. You can kind of see the blue that was left in his hair. I had just put more blue in my hair as well, which is why Sean had some in his. Haha.

Last photo I tried to get Sean to take a good photo... every photo he took he had his eyes closed!

At Lake Murray, Derek is somewhere in the water in this picture too. I think he is like the second furthest spec to the right.

A recent photo of our ducks. They are getting so big! We are still unsure of their sexes. You can see all of the feathers, from them molting. We are pretty sure that Evil is a male and that one of the Pekin ducks are a male. But Mr. Quackers we aren't sure. Duck and the other Pekin duck, we are sure are females. :)

Sean took a nap yesterday around noon and come bedtime didn't want to go to sleep. We ended up with him in our bed until close to midnight before he finally passed out. I got a cute photo of him and Derek. :)

Derek got all dressed up this morning to go up to the police department to apply. It is around a six to eight week progress, so we'll know in at least two months. *crosses fingers* Until then I guess I'll probably go and get a job and try to help out until he gets a regular job.

Before I head off to bed in a few minutes I figured I would write a quick update on things that have been going on.

Me and the husband got into a rather huge fight last night, needless to say he will probably be on best behavior for a while and we are going to probably see someone. On top of almost splitting up, he called me this morning and told me he got fired. Oh boy!

I think we are just being majorly tested. Goodness. So I may have to get a job to help out... even though it's not like I'll be getting a very good paying job (all I have experience in is cashiering), but something is better than nothing.

Oh and we also didn't keep the puppy, which is a good thing because of Derek losing his job and we are going to be cutting it close with everything else anyways.

That's about it though.
